This policy explains how DHCB, Inc. ("DHCB", "we") handles personal information on dhcb.io and in Orbit. Feglah has its own privacy policy at feglah.com.
The short version
- We collect what you send us and what our customers put into Orbit, and use it to reply and to run the service.
- In Orbit, our customer controls the data. We process it on their behalf.
- We don't sell personal information.
- You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information at [email protected].
1. What we collect
When you contact us. Your name, email address, company, phone number if you give it, and your message.
When you visit dhcb.io. Basic technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, kept in server logs for security and reliability.
When a business uses Orbit. The data our customer connects or submits ("Customer Data"). This can include:
- Orders received by email, WhatsApp, voicemail, EDI or a storefront, including attachments such as PDFs and scans;
- Names, phone numbers and emails of the distributor's customers and contacts;
- Order history, catalogs, contract prices and other ERP records;
- Account details and activity of the distributor's staff, such as sales reps.
2. How we use it
- To reply to your inquiry and arrange demos or pilots.
- To provide Orbit: read and book orders, match products, score accounts, suggest actions and run storefronts.
- To secure, support and fix the service, and to keep records the law requires.
- To improve the service using aggregated, de-identified statistics that don't identify anyone.
3. Our role in Orbit
For Customer Data, the distributor using Orbit is in control, and we act as their service provider (or "processor"). We use Customer Data only on their instructions and under our agreement with them. If you're a customer or contact of a distributor that uses Orbit, please send privacy requests to that distributor; we'll help them respond.
4. AI processing
Orbit uses AI models to read orders and documents and to make recommendations. Some of these models are run by third-party providers. Uncertain results go to a person for review.
5. Who we share it with
- Service providers who help us run DHCB and Orbit, such as hosting, email, messaging and AI model providers, bound by confidentiality and data protection terms.
- The systems you connect, such as your ERP, when you ask us to write data to them.
- Authorities when the law requires it, or to protect our rights and users.
- A buyer or successor if DHCB is involved in a merger or acquisition, under this policy's protections.
We don't sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
6. How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy or as the law requires.
7. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information. No system is perfectly secure, and we'll notify affected customers without undue delay if an incident affects their data.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or get a copy of your personal information, and to object to or limit some uses. Email [email protected] and we'll respond within the time the law requires. We won't treat you differently for using these rights.
9. International transfers
We're based in the United States and our service providers may process data in other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
10. Children
Our website and services are for businesses and aren't directed to children under 16. We don't knowingly collect their information.
11. Changes
We'll update this policy as our products change and revise the date at the top. For material changes affecting Orbit customers, we'll give notice in advance.
